Audio example

This is how you run the supplied audio demo:

  1. Load the midi file named 'audiodem.mid'. You will see there are 3 tracks defined; drums, bass and an audio track named 'guitar'.

  2. Invoke menu entry Audio->Load Set and load file 'audiodem.spl'. This is the 'sample set definition file' that binds audio sample files to the different key pitches (see Audio Overview).

  3. Check that audio is enabled (invoke menu entry Audio->Global Settings, see Global Settings).

  4. Now you can play the song (with audio) (see Record and Play).

You may also want to look at how the samples are bound to the key pitches by invoking Sample Settings dialog and scroll the listbox down to position 50. There are two samples defined (funkguit1.wav and funkguit2.wav). Play the samples by selecting in the listbox and press the Play button. Look at how you can edit the samples in the Sample Editor by pressing the Edit button.

At last you should look at the 'guitar' audio track in the Piano Window. Scroll up and down until you find the defined samples.
